KUTSINTA

           1 cup all-purpose flour
           2 cup water
           1 cup brown sugar (or granulated sugar)
           1 tsp. lye few drops of yellow food color
               or astsuete (when using granulated sugar)
      Starch boiling water in the steamer.

In a mixing bowl, blend all the ingredients until smooth and free from lumps, strain. 
      Pour mixture into kutsinta molder or ungresed muffin tins, one half full.
      Steam for 10 to 20 minutes.
      Let cool for 5 minutes and loosen from pans with a small spatula.
      Serve with grated coconut.
      Make 3 dozens.
